The kit also includes Mango IPA essence, yeast, and instructions for a successful result.

Characteristics and flavor profile

Mango IPA is a fresh and modern IPA with distinct notes of ripe mango, tropical fruits, and citrus. The beer is brewed on a light malt base of pilsner and wheat malt combined with flaked oats, which gives a full-bodied and silky smooth mouthfeel with a slightly hazy appearance. Citra hops and orange peel contribute fresh citrus and tropical notes balanced by a moderate bitterness and high drinkability.

The wort is professionally water-adjusted and brewed at Austmann Bryggeri, known for uncompromising quality and modern beer styles with high drinkability.

Mango IPA essence

After fermentation, Mango IPA essence from Totally Natural Solutions is added – a natural and fully soluble blend of extracted mango and hops, completely free of fermentable sugar. The essence gives the beer a powerful boost of ripe mango and tropical fruit without adding artificial sweetness, and is an important part of the distinctive flavor profile of this beer.

Simple process for a great beer

With a Fresh Wort Kit, brewing time is significantly minimized. The wort is pre-brewed for you and ready to use, so you only need to pour it into a fermenter and add yeast. The Mango IPA essence is added after fermentation – either in a secondary fermenter before bottling or directly into kegs during carbonation. With the aim of providing our customers with the absolute highest quality to produce perfect craft beer at home, the wort is filled into Bag In Box using high-tech filling machinery. The bag is then flushed with nitrogen to ensure minimal oxygen in the wort. The wort is 100% ready to use, and finings and yeast nutrients have been added during boiling. You do not need to top up with water, so just pitch the yeast and follow the instructions.
