These charcoal baskets from Napoleon give you control over the briquettes and charcoal in your kettle grill. You can move the coals while they are hot and decide where the heat comes from. That makes cooking over indirect heat easy.

How to use the charcoal baskets

Light the charcoal in a chimney starter and place the two baskets in the middle of the kettle grill. When the coals are ready, pour them into the baskets. Then move the baskets out to either side, put the grate on and place the meat in the middle. This lets you cook low and slow over indirect heat, a method that suits larger cuts and roasts.
