Submersible pump 12V, 800 l/h – for temperature control during fermentation
A high-quality brushless submersible pump, made for homebrewers who want to cool the fermenter with glycol or cold water. It works with glycol chillers for homebrewers, for example the Quantor 03 SB, Quantor 05 SB and the chillers from Ss Brewtech. If you do not have a glycol chiller, you can submerge the pump in a water bath inside a fridge. The pump is very quiet.
How to use the pump
We recommend using the pump together with the Inkbird WIFI ITC-308. Plug the pump into the «cooling» socket on the Inkbird. It then starts automatically when the temperature of the fermenter rises above your set point, and circulates cold water or glycol through the cooling coil or jacket.

Do I need a glycol chiller?
No. The pump works with glycol chillers, but you can also submerge it in a water bath inside a fridge.
How do I control the pump automatically?
Connect it to «cooling» on an Inkbird WIFI ITC-308. The pump starts when the tank gets warmer than the set temperature and stops when it is back down.
Which hose fits?
The outlet has a 3/8" hose barb that fits hose with an inner diameter of 9–10 mm.
Why is temperature control so important?
The yeast produces heat during active fermentation, and too high a temperature causes off-flavours. A stable temperature is one of the most important factors for a good result.
