PolyKeg Manual Filling Kit – K-fitting
Complete kit with everything you need to fill PolyKeg kegs manually, for kegs with a K-fitting valve (KeyKeg type). The filling head is designed to make filling simple and seamless, and the kit suits breweries filling one-way kegs by hand.
Counter pressure after filling
When filling a PolyKeg, it is recommended to apply a counter pressure of up to 0.5 bar between the keg and the bag after filling. This has two advantages compared with other kegs on the market:
- Constant pressure against the bag prevents CO2 from leaving the beer. Otherwise this happens with rising temperature or shaking, causing foam and partial oxidation.
- You avoid beer drips between the bag and the keg after filling. If it does happen, the bag is not damaged, but it looks less tidy.

Which kegs does the kit fit?
The kit is for PolyKeg with a K-fitting valve (KeyKeg type). If your kegs have a G-fitting, you need the G version of the kit.
Why apply counter pressure between keg and bag?
A counter pressure of up to 0.5 bar keeps the CO2 in the beer, reduces foam and oxidation and prevents beer drips between bag and keg.
