Propylene glycol from Grainfather is food-grade glycol for glycol chillers such as the Grainfather GC2. The glycol mixture circulates from the chiller to the fermenter's cooling jacket or coil and keeps the fermentation temperature stable.
To keep your glycol chiller running well, it is recommended to replace the glycol mixture every six months. According to Grainfather, 3 litres is enough to completely refill the glycol chiller and connect up to four conical fermenters.
