Quantor MCK – cooling and heating unit for breweries and wineries
The Quantor MCK is a water chiller with a heating function for professional production of beer, wine, cider and other beverages. The unit has the cooling section at the top and a pump and insulated stainless steel water tank at the bottom. It controls the temperature of fermentation and storage tanks and runs fully automatically, without supervision.

Design
- Hermetically sealed scroll compressor
- Complete cooling water circuit with micro-channel condenser, insulated stainless steel water tank, centrifugal pump and electric heating element
- Pressure switch in the cooling circuit for pump control, protecting the pump and saving energy
- Integrated level switch and bypass for pump protection and tank circulation
- All water-carrying parts are insulated
- Stainless steel frame with painted front panel and removable side panels for easy access
- Fan on top blowing warm air upwards
- Refrigerant R410A
- Protection rating at least IP54

- Larger units up to 285 kW and other voltages can be built to order
- MCK 50–181 are on wheels as standard, wheels for larger units are optional
- At outlet temperatures below +7 °C, 30–35 % glycol must be added to the cooling water

What cooling capacities are available?
The MCK comes in 12 models from 6.2 to 71.3 kW. Larger units up to 285 kW can be built to order.
Do I need glycol?
Yes, if the outlet temperature is to go below +7 °C. The cooling water must then contain 30–35 % glycol.
Can the MCK also heat?
Yes. All MCK units have an electric heating element, so they can both cool and heat.
