SafCider AC-4 500 g – cider yeast from Fermentis

SafCider AC-4 is a dried cider yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) from Fermentis. It assimilates fructose very well and is well suited to low-gravity ciders. The yeast gives an intensely fresh aromatic profile of apple and flowers, with a crisp mouthfeel that enhances the structure of the cider.

The 500 g pack is intended for cideries, breweries and professional customers.

How much SafCider AC-4 should I use?

Fermentis recommends 10–20 g/hl for primary fermentation and 30–40 g/hl for secondary fermentation (prise de mousse). 500 g therefore covers 25–50 hl of primary fermentation.
