Description
Sediment Reducer – less sediment when transferring from the fermenter
The Sediment Reducer is a simple part that reduces the amount of hops and yeast carried over when you transfer beer, wine or cider from the fermenter. It fits on the inside behind the tap, with the opening facing upwards. The liquid is then drawn in above the sediment instead of from the bottom of the vessel. Made by Ferrari.
How to use it
- Fit the part behind the tap on the inside of the fermenter.
- Turn the opening upwards.
- Draw off as usual. The sediment stays in the fermenter.
