The connector has an integrated shut-off valve, which stops the flow when the quick connectors are separated. Absolutely brilliant, especially for those who use a glycol chiller and want the option to disconnect the hoses without coolant spilling on the floor.

Internal flow diameter is 1/4" (6.35mm).
