Are NPT threads compatible with BSP?
No. NPT is the American tapered pipe thread and BSP is the British standard. The threads have a different profile and pitch, so they should not be mixed.
How do I seal the threads?
NPT threads seal on the thread itself. Use PTFE tape or a food-safe thread sealant.
