Immersion chiller 16 m with John Guest 3/8" push-fit connector
An immersion chiller in 304 stainless steel with 16 metres of tubing. The chiller is lowered into the kettle, and cold water is pumped or run through the coil to cool the wort quickly after the boil. Fast chilling matters, because the off-flavour DMS can otherwise form again in hot wort.
The chiller comes with a John Guest 3/8" push-fit connector, so the water hose connects without hose clamps. With adapters you can connect hoses of other diameters or connect directly to a water tap.

Will the chiller fit my kettle?
The coil is 300 mm in diameter and 530 mm high. The kettle needs this much internal space, plus room for any heating elements and malt pipe.
How do I sanitize the immersion chiller?
Place it in the boiling wort for the last 15 minutes of the boil. That sanitizes it before you turn on the cooling water.
How do I connect the water?
The chiller has a John Guest 3/8" push-fit connector. With an adapter you can connect it to a water tap or to hoses of other diameters.
