Immersion chiller 8.8 m in stainless steel – with John Guest 3/8" push-fit
An immersion chiller in 304 stainless steel from Brewolution, for chilling the wort quickly after the boil. The chiller is lowered into the wort, and cold water runs through the coil and carries the heat away. The tube is 8.8 m long, and the chiller comes with a John Guest 3/8" push-fit connector for easy connection of the water hose.

How do I connect the chiller to a water hose?
The chiller has a John Guest 3/8" push-fit connector. To connect an ordinary water hose you need a suitable adapter or hose barb, which is sold separately.
How big a kettle do I need?
The coil is 250 mm in diameter and 370 mm high. The kettle must therefore have an inside diameter of more than 250 mm, and the wort should cover as much of the coil as possible.
Why should the wort be chilled quickly?
Fast chilling gets you down to pitching temperature sooner, and shortens the time the wort is exposed to bacteria and wild yeast.
