Côte de Boeuf is a thick bone-in ribeye – a true sharing steak, perfect when you want to gather people around the grill or dinner table. The bone adds extra flavour and helps keep the meat juicy while cooking. Each piece weighs 800–1000 g and serves 2–3 people. The price is NOK 770 per kg.
Origin and quality
Sashi is an internationally known meat brand, award-winning at the World Steak Challenge three years in a row. The meat comes from grass-fed cattle raised in Finland and is processed in Denmark. The result is a steak with:

Preparation
Recommended methods
- Grill (recommended): Sear over high direct heat and finish over indirect heat
- Pan + oven: Brown well in a pan and finish in the oven at 160–180 °C
- Reverse sear: Cook gently to just below your target core temperature, then finish over high heat
Core temperature
- Medium rare: 54–56 °C (recommended)
- Medium: 58–60 °C
Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before serving.
