Description
Topsflo TD5 24V PWM Speed Control – magnetic drive pump with speed control
The Topsflo TD5 Beer Brewing Pump is a quiet, magnetic drive brushless 35 W pump. The pump head is food-grade stainless steel, the plastic parts are food-grade Xyron PPE, and the O-rings withstand 150 °C. The pump is designed for the high temperatures of brewing and can be used both for recirculation during the mash and for pumping boiling wort, for example through a counterflow chiller. The new version has a separate rotor and bearing, making it easier to clean.
PWM stands for Pulse Width Modulation. The TD5 PWM has a built-in speed control circuit and comes with three wires: red (+), black (−) and blue (PWM). The pump only runs when the blue wire receives a signal from a speed controller.

Frequently asked questions about the Topsflo TD5 PWM
What is the difference between the TD5 and the TD5 PWM?
The PWM model has built-in speed control and must be driven by a PWM signal from a speed controller via the blue wire. Without a signal, the pump does not run.
Is a power adapter included?
No. A power adapter is not included with the PWM model.
Can the pump handle boiling wort?
Yes. It withstands 110 °C continuously and 150 °C for shorter periods, and can be used to pump boiling wort through a counterflow chiller.
What threads does the pump have?
The inlet and outlet have 1/2" threads.
