Ultratap Gold – forward sealing beer tap with gold-plated finish

Ultratap was developed by Brad Amidzich, the inventor of the original Vent-Matic and Intertap. The tap is a further development of Intertap's forward sealing design, where the tap closes at the front. Ultratap Gold is gold-plated for an elegant, durable finish and comes with a handle.

• Patented internal design: guides the flow through the tap so turbulence is reduced and the beer flows laminarly. This gives a smoother pour with less foam.
• Smooth, hygienic surface: made with laser precision, giving a smoother surface than older taps. The tap is easier to clean and withstands heavy use.
• Stays cold longer: the tap is often the warmest point in a dispensing system and causes foam on the first pour. Ultratap has thermal mass that holds the cold longer.
• Modular spout: the spout can be swapped, for example for a stout spout, sparkler spout, ball lock spout or growler filler.
• For all dispensing systems: suits both a home kegerator and commercial systems with long line runs.
• Gold-plated finish: elegant and resistant to wear.

Frequently asked questions about Ultratap Gold

What is a forward sealing tap?

A forward sealing tap closes at the front, not at the back of the tap body. No beer is left standing in the tap, it does not get sticky and it is easier to clean.

Can I change the spout?

Yes. The spout is modular and can be swapped for a stout spout, English sparkler, ball lock spout or growler filler, among others.

Is the handle included?

Yes. Ultratap Gold comes with a handle.

Why does the first pour foam?

The tap is often the warmest point in the system. Ultratap holds the cold longer, but warm beer or too much pressure can also cause foam.
