Finding the right part for your Hiwi regulator
Outlet: Hiwi regulators have a 3/4" thread on the outlet. The wing nut is 3/4" with a 9.3 mm hose tail and comes with a seal.
Inlet: The standard regulators have a W21.8 thread that fits European CO2 cylinders. The CO2 inlet O-ring is a spare part for these regulators.
Sodastream: the Hiwi Sodastream regulator screws onto a Sodastream or AGA cylinder from below when the cylinder sits in the holder.
Cylinder holders for corny kegs
The holders for a Sodastream cylinder, picnic beer line set and Hiwi regulator attach to the top ring of a corny keg. One version fits standard corny kegs, one fits the 23-litre AEB keg. The holder stops the cylinder tipping over, and a separate hook keeps the line set with picnic tap ready. The holders are 3D printed in Norway. Why must the CO2 cylinder stand upright?
A CO2 cylinder contains liquid CO2. If it tips over while the regulator is connected, liquid CO2 can enter the regulator and damage it. The keg-mounted holders are made to prevent this.
