Frequently asked questions about the 0.5 micron filter cartridge
Which filter housing does the cartridge fit?
It fits the Enolmatic Tandem Filter Housing from Tenco.
Which micron rating should I choose?
The lower the number, the finer the filtration. 0.5 micron is the finest cartridge we stock for the housing. A fine cartridge clogs faster, so it can pay to filter through a coarser cartridge first.
Can filtered beer be bottle conditioned?
A filter this fine holds back most of the yeast. Filtered beer should therefore be carbonated with CO2 before packaging rather than bottle conditioned.
