Adapter 1/2" NPT to 1/4" FPT – from male thread to smaller female thread
A stainless steel adapter from 1/2" NPT male thread to 1/4" FPT female thread. Use it to connect a part with 1/4" male thread, such as a pressure gauge or a small valve, to a 1/2" female port on a kettle, cross or tee. The adapter is made by Brumetal, Brewshop's own brand, in high-quality 304 stainless steel.

How do I make the adapter seal?
Use PTFE tape or thread sealant on the male threads. NPT threads are tapered and seal as they are tightened.
