Which hose does it fit?
The barb is 10 mm and fits hose with a 10 mm inner diameter. A hose clamp is recommended to secure the hose on the barb.
What is the difference between the 5/8" and 1/2" BSP versions?
Only the thread on the nut differs. Choose the one that matches the external thread on the fitting you are connecting to. We also stock a version with a 1/2" BSP nut.
What does the O-ring do?
The O-ring seals between the hose barb and the threaded connection, so the joint stays tight once the nut is tightened.
