2.5" Tri-Clamp silicone gasket – a tight seal between two ferrules
A gasket for 2.5" Tri-Clamp, made from food-grade silicone. The gasket sits between two Tri-Clamp ferrules and is held together with a clamp of the same size, so the joint seals tightly.
Silicone handles both high and low temperatures well, and is softer and more flexible than EPDM.

What is the difference between silicone and EPDM?
Silicone is softer and more flexible and handles a wide temperature range, here −50 °C to 200 °C. EPDM is stiffer and has good chemical resistance.
What else do I need?
Two 2.5" Tri-Clamp ferrules and a 2.5" clamp. The gasket and clamp must be the same size as the ferrules.
When should I replace the gasket?
Replace it when it has become hard, cracked or deformed, or when the joint no longer seals.
