Butterfly valve with 2" and 1.5" Tri-Clamp – valve and reducer in one

This butterfly valve has a 2" Tri-Clamp on one side and a 1.5" Tri-Clamp on the other. It therefore works both as a valve and as a reducer between the two sizes, for example between a 2" port on a tank and 1.5" hoses or pipes. The valve is made by Brumetal in top-quality 304 stainless steel.

How does a butterfly valve work?

A butterfly valve has a disc inside the bore that turns with the handle. A quarter turn takes the valve from fully closed to fully open.

What do I need to fit the valve?

You need a 2" clamp and gasket on one side, and a 1.5" clamp and gasket on the other.

Why a valve with two sizes?

With a different size at each end you do not need a separate reducer. That means fewer joints, which are easier to keep clean.
