50L Kegmenter
The 50L Kegmenter from Keg King, Australia, is designed like a commercial beer keg with a dip tube, but with a large 10cm tri-clamp opening at the top allowing for easy access to the interior for cleaning.
The Kegmenter comes with a lid with ball lock valves for CO2 and beer, and can be pressurized up to 3.5 bar (pressure tested at 5 bar). You can therefore use it for pressure fermentation or forced carbonation. A Kegmenter is also perfect as a bright tank / storage tank.
For fermentation under pressure, you will need a spunding valve (adjustable pressure relief valve). If only forced carbonation with external CO2 gas is relevant, then you will not need a spunding valve. In that case, you just adjust the pressure on your CO2 regulator. As the kegmenter comes with an internal dip tube, we recommend installing a floating dip tube if you are going to ferment in it.
You can stack up to 4 kegmenters high.
