Description

Apollo Titan Fermentation Tank Unitank

Unlike PET plastic fermentation tanks, the Apollo Titan is a stainless steel tank that will last a lifetime, and with the possibility of even easier cleaning as you can also use HEAT for cleaning. This gives you all the benefits of the cheaper plastic tanks, but with increased strength, reliability and flexibility.

Apollo Titan comes with 3 tri-clamp ports, with clamps, gaskets and end caps: Two side-mounted ports for adding extra equipment and 1 port at the bottom to, for example, connect a butterfly valve for dumping and/or harvesting yeast. You will be able to use the Apollo Titan straight out of the box as a Snub Nose stainless steel pressure tank, while the tri-clamp ports allow you to upgrade the tank to a true Unitank according to your needs later. See here for our selection of 1.5" tri-clamp fittings.

The Apollo Titan has the same shape as the popular Apollo series of PET plastic. You get compact convenience with plenty of room to upgrade, and the Apollo Titan works with other Apollo products such as cooling coils and insulation jackets.

Apollo Titan 30L features:

  • Ferment under pressure using the included 0.7 or 1 bar safety valves. Alternatively, use a spunding valve to regulate the pressure.
  • Dry hop sanitarily - Use the dry hop port in the lid
  • Carbonate the beer in the fermentation tank - the lid is pressure rated for use up to 2.4 bar
  • Monitor internal temperature with a centered thermowell for accurate temperature readings
  • Serve directly from the tank - Connect a tap and use the Apollo as a keg
  • Transfer oxygen-free in a closed system
  • For fermentation without pressure, you can, for example, use one of the ball lock valves for blow-off, or put an airlock in the port for the overpressure valve
  • Connect a sampling valve, butterfly valve, sight glass and much more as desired using the tri-clamp ports
