Description

Apollo Titan 30L – stainless steel unitank from Keg King

Unlike PET plastic fermenters, the Apollo Titan is a stainless steel tank. It can also be cleaned with heat, which makes cleaning easier. You get the benefits of the more affordable plastic tanks, but with added strength, reliability and flexibility.

The Apollo Titan comes with three Tri-Clamp ports with clamps, gaskets and end caps: two side-mounted ports for extra equipment and one at the bottom, for example for a butterfly valve to dump or harvest yeast. Straight out of the box you can use the Apollo Titan as a stainless steel Snub Nose pressure fermenter, and later upgrade it to a true unitank using the Tri-Clamp ports. See our range of Tri-Clamp fittings.

The Apollo Titan has the same shape as the PET Apollo series. It is compact, has plenty of room for upgrades and works with other Apollo products, including the cooling coil and insulating jackets.

How to use the Apollo Titan

  • ferment under pressure with the included 0.7 or 1 bar pressure relief valves, or use a spunding valve to regulate the pressure
  • dry hop hygienically through the dry hop port in the lid
  • carbonate the beer in the fermenter; the lid is pressure rated for use up to 2.4 bar
  • monitor the internal temperature with the centred thermowell
  • serve straight from the tank: connect a tap and use the Apollo as a keg
  • transfer oxygen-free in a closed system
  • ferment without pressure by using one ball lock post for blow-off, or fitting an airlock in the PRV port
  • add a sample valve, butterfly valve, sight glass and more via the Tri-Clamp ports
