Ball Lock CO2 disconnect with check valve
CO2 disconnect for ball lock Cornelius kegs, with a built-in check valve from CMB. The check valve stops beer from entering the CO2 line and regulator, for example if the pressure drops or the CO2 cylinder runs empty. The disconnect has a 1/4" MFL thread and fits hose barbs and fittings with a 1/4" FFL thread.

Why do I need a check valve?
If the keg is overfilled, or the CO2 cylinder runs empty, beer can flow back through the gas line into the regulator. The check valve prevents this.
Which post on the keg does the CO2 disconnect go on?
The CO2 disconnect goes on the gas inlet, the post marked «in». Beer is dispensed through a separate beer disconnect.
What do I connect to the thread?
The disconnect has a 1/4" MFL thread and fits hose barbs and adapters with a 1/4" FFL nut. Use a flare washer between the parts for a tight seal.
