Description
Børnebær from Kyrres Krutt – fruity and sweet chilli sauce with blackberries
Børnebær is a different kind of chilli sauce from Kyrres Krutt: sweet, fruity and just daring enough. Blackberries and blueberries give it a distinctly Nordic character, balanced by natural sweetness from dates and honey. In the background, habanero brings a creeping, warm finish that lifts the flavour without dominating. The heat level is 4 out of 10.
The sauce works just as well on a cheese board as with salads and game, and it is also good as a topping on pancakes or vanilla ice cream. If you want to try something new, use it in a blackberry cocktail for a sweet and spicy twist.
