Brewtools B180 Mash Tun – external mash tun for the B180
The Brewtools B180 Mash Tun is an external mash tun that turns the Brewtools B180 into a 2-vessel system. Moving the mash to a separate tank gives you much greater grain capacity and a more efficient brewing process, and you no longer need a crane or hoist for the malt pipe.
The tank has a total capacity of 198 litres and a grain capacity of up to 65 kg. It suits larger batches, stronger beers and brews where a standard malt pipe is too small. The tank has a door and grain chute, so spent grain is easy to remove.
The integrated FCS Brew Pump connects to the B180 and is controlled automatically by a level sensor at the top. Wort is recirculated over the grain through the centre pipe, and the tank uses the same CleanCore 3-way valve at the bottom as the B180. The mash tun is made from 304 stainless steel, with food-grade silicone, EPDM and POK.
