2kg CO2 cylinder
A 2 kg CO2 cylinder from Welz Gas Cylinder, Germany. The cylinder is used with a CO2 regulator to carbonate and dispense beer from cornelius kegs, and suits a home setup or a kegerator where space is limited.
Please note: This product is only available in Norway.
Important shipping information
When ordering, you choose between an empty cylinder ("Tom CO2 flaske") and a filled cylinder ("Fylt CO2 flaske (kun hentes i butikk)"). Filled CO2 cylinders cannot be shipped, so if the cylinder is to be sent, you must choose the empty cylinder. A filled cylinder is collected from our shop in Trondheim.
Refilling and storage
Empty CO2 cylinders can be refilled at our shop in Trondheim, where we have a CO2 bank with food-grade gas. Empty cylinders should be stored with the valve closed. Otherwise oxygen and moisture quickly get inside the cylinder and cause rust on the inside.

Frequently asked questions about the 2kg CO2 cylinder
Can you ship a filled CO2 cylinder?
No. A filled cylinder can only be collected from our shop in Trondheim. If the cylinder is to be shipped, choose the empty cylinder when ordering.
Where can I refill the cylinder?
At our shop in Trondheim, with food-grade CO2.
How should I store an empty cylinder?
With the valve closed. If the valve is left open, oxygen and moisture get in and cause rust on the inside.
What do I need to connect the cylinder to a keg?
You need a CO2 regulator and a gas line with a keg disconnect. A common force-carbonation pressure is 1 bar for one week at 3–5 °C.
