About the equipment
- BenchMK is a compact can seamer that is easy to use straight out of the box. It is powered by an external drill.
- Duofiller Core (G3) is the third-generation can filler. It purges the can with CO2 before filling and fills every can to the same level. It can also be used with most types of bottles.
Frequently asked questions about Craft Brew Canning Kit
What do I need in addition to the kit?
You need carbonated beer in a keg and CO2 for the can filler, plus a drill to power the seamer. The drill and CO2 are not included.
Why are the cans purged with CO2?
Duofiller purges the can with CO2 before filling, so there is as little oxygen as possible in the can. Oxygen makes beer lose hop aroma and taste of cardboard.
Can I fill bottles with the Duofiller?
Yes. Duofiller Core can also be used with most types of bottles.
How many cans are included?
The kit contains 24 × 500 ml cans and 320 CDL lids.
