Fairytale Munich Malt 25 kg – malty Norwegian base malt from Bonsak

Fairytale Munich is the maltiest base malt from Bonsak Gårdsmalteri in Skogn in Trøndelag, Norway. It is toasty and lightly roasty, with notes of chocolate, brown sugar, nuts and biscuits. The malt gives the wort a deep reddish to brown colour with a burnt orange hue. The colour comes from melanoidins formed in Bonsak’s own germination and kilning process.

About Bonsak Gårdsmalteri

Bonsak Gårdsmalteri is a farm maltings in Skogn in Trøndelag, Norway. The farmer follows the grain all the way from the field, through the malthouse and on to the brewer. The maltings combines traditional craft with modern technology and uses floor malting, a traditional method that according to Bonsak gives more depth of flavour and aroma than industrial pneumatic malting. The malt is delivered fresh.
