Malt bomb alert. Toasty and lightly roasty, chocolatey, brown sugar, nutty, graham crackers, and biscuits........ our most malty base offering. Gives a deep burnt orange reddish to brown hue in color to the wort from melanodins created in our special germination and kilning processes.
We combine traditional methods with modern technology to handcraft quality and consistent unique brewers malt that lie outside the commercial norm. We follow the time honored traditional process of floor malting, producing depth in flavors and aromas unachievable in industrial scale pneumatic malting.
