Keg package with 20L Cornelius keg and Oxyturbo SodaStream regulator
A complete starter kit for carbonating and dispensing homebrewed beer from a keg. The package has a 20L Cornelius keg from Italian AEB, which holds 1 litre more than a standard 19L keg, and is built from European quality components for reliability, precision, safety and long service life. It uses push-fit quick connectors all the way.

- new 20L Cornelius keg from AEB, Italy
- SodaStream CO2 cylinder 425 g
- Oxyturbo CO2 regulator with John Guest 5/16" quick connector, compatible with SodaStream and AGA CO2 cylinders
- beer line set with 3/16" anti-foam tubing and picnic tap
- push-fit CO2 line set
- support foot for the SodaStream CO2 cylinder
How to use the keg package
Carbonate the beer at 1 bar for 1 week at a normal fridge temperature of 4 °C, with the gas connected the whole time. See also the carbonation chart in the product images.
Note: always keep the CO2 cylinder upright when it is connected to the regulator. The cylinder contains liquid CO2, which freezes the gauge and can damage the regulator if the cylinder lies down.
Frequently asked questions about the keg package with 20L Cornelius keg
How long does it take to carbonate the beer?
At 1 bar and 4 °C it takes around a week. The beer cannot become more carbonated than the pressure allows, so this method carries little risk of overcarbonation.
Why must the CO2 cylinder stand upright?
The cylinder contains liquid CO2. If it lies down, liquid can enter the regulator, freeze the gauge and damage the regulator.
Can I use other CO2 cylinders?
The Oxyturbo regulator fits both SodaStream and AGA CO2 cylinders.
How full can I fill the keg?
Do not fill above the gas tube. Otherwise beer can flow back into the regulator if the CO2 cylinder runs empty.
