Goldings (US) descends from the English East Kent Golding. The variety was grown in British Columbia before reaching Washington and Oregon in the early 1990s, and has kept its kinship with the English ancestor. The hop has a mild aroma and a complex, spicy "English" flavour, and is used as a finishing and aroma hop in traditional ales. The 5 kg pack suits breweries and large batches.
