Graviator – WiFi hydrometer and thermometer that tracks fermentation in real time
Graviator is a wireless hydrometer and thermometer that floats in the beer during fermentation. You follow specific gravity (SG) and temperature in real time in the BrewCreator web app, on your phone, tablet or PC. Its weight and size are designed for stable readings even during vigorous krausen. Graviator is fully sealed and charged wirelessly, so you never need to open it. It is developed by Brewolution in Denmark.

Control a Fercubator (Ferminator) Connect by the beer temperature
If you pair Graviator with a Fercubator (Ferminator) Connect via Bluetooth, the fermentation chamber is controlled by the temperature inside the beer rather than the air temperature. This gives precise and stable temperature control. You get clear graphs of the fermentation and can see when it starts and when it has finished.
Note that steel tanks can weaken the WiFi signal. With a Fercubator (Ferminator) Connect this is not normally a problem, but it is worth knowing if the devices are far apart.

Frequently asked questions about Graviator
Which WiFi network do I need?
Graviator only works on 2.4 GHz networks, which have the longest range. Bluetooth is used to pair it with a Fercubator (Ferminator) Connect.
How long does the battery last?
The battery lasts approx. 3 months per charge, and charging takes approx. 5 hours with the wireless charger. You can see the battery status in BrewCreator.
Can I use Graviator in a pressure tank?
Yes. Graviator handles pressure fermentation up to 3 bar. Steel tanks can weaken the WiFi signal.
How high an OG can it measure?
Graviator measures SG from 0.995 to 1.120. According to the manufacturer, 1.120 corresponds to an alcohol content of approx. 16%.
Does Graviator work with Brewfather?
Yes. BrewCreator can be integrated with Brewfather.
