Fercubator (Ferminator) Connect Fermentation Chamber
Brewolution in Denmark has taken all the best features from the Fercubator Basic (formerly known as Ferminator Basic) and created a new version that can be controlled and monitored wirelessly via WiFi and Bluetooth.
The Fercubator Connect is an affordable and smart, high-quality fermentation chamber, ensuring that fermentation occurs at a precise and stable temperature, which is critical if you want to achieve the best possible results when brewing beer. A correct and consistent fermentation temperature ensures that unwanted flavors are avoided and that the yeast does not go dormant.
At room temperature (20°C), the Ferminator can lower the temperature to as low as 0°C and raise it to 50°C *. This gives you the option to ferment lagers and pilsners at the correct low temperature or ales at higher fermentation temperatures.
The Fercubator gives you full control during fermentation and keeps the temperature constant throughout the fermentation process, and can, of course, be adjusted as desired. A correct and consistent fermentation temperature ensures that unwanted flavors are avoided and that the yeast does not go dormant.
Wireless Operation
The Fercubator Connect is easy to operate wirelessly online via BrewCreator, where you can monitor the fermentation process in a detailed graph at any time and make temperature adjustments if necessary. If you are away when your beer might need a diacetyl rest, it's practical to be able to increase the temperature by a few degrees even if you are far away.
The Fercubator Connect can also communicate directly with the Graviator - a new, wireless hydrometer, which measures specific gravity (precision ± 0.002 SG) and temperature directly inside the fermentation vessel. Unique to the Graviator is also wireless charging with the included magnetic wireless charger. It should therefore never be opened, avoiding the risk of leaks and infections.
You can also control the Fercubator Connect manually with a few simple buttons. The set and actual temperature are always displayed, making it easy to follow the progress.
Cooling / Heating Unit
- Can lower the temperature by up to 20°C relative to ambient temperature*.
- Can raise the temperature by up to 30°C relative to ambient temperature*.
- Built-in fan circulates air for uniform temperature throughout the Fercubator.
- The control unit is easy to program and shows actual and set temperatures.
- Temperature sensor with 2-meter cable
- The temperature sensor can be mounted either on the outside or inside the fermentation tank with a thermowell to accurately measure the content's temperature.
- Max consumption: 75 Watt, standby: 1 Watt.
- Fan: The fan runs constantly, but at four different speeds as needed. Noise level is 43-51dB.
Extension Module
The extension module has a height of 22 cm.
The Fercubator can be extended with several extension modules, as well as an additional cooling/heating unit on the back.
The extension module and Fercubator can be separated to take up minimal space when stored.
