Yellow Cayenne, Apple & Kaffir Lime Leaf is the fruitiest and mildest sauce in Besætt's range of fermented chilli sauces. It has a fresh apple flavour, mild heat from yellow cayenne and a clear aroma and taste of lime leaf.
Please note: This product is only available in Norway.
The sauce goes well with Asian and exotic dishes. Try it with soy, lime and a dash of vinegar for sashimi or ceviche, or stir it in with a small knob of butter in a wok or with fried pork strips. It also works well in salads: toss heart lettuce with a little sauce and olive oil for a fresh, spicy dressing.
The sauce is unpasteurised and contains live cultures. Shake the bottle gently before use.
