Hallertau Blanc is a German variety with a bouquet of sweet and tropical fruits, but what makes it distinctive is its white wine character. It was bred at the hop research centre in Hüll, is a daughter of Cascade and was released in 2012. The variety is one of the new German varieties developed for brewers looking for bigger, more distinctive hop aromas.
