Precise alcoholmeter from Alla France for measuring alcohol content in the 90–100 % vol range. It is made to ISO 4801, calibrated at 20 °C and supplied with a Certificate of Conformity. The alcoholmeter is suitable for checking high-strength ethanol, for example in a laboratory.

Frequently asked questions about the 90–100 % vol alcoholmeter
Can I measure the alcohol in beer or wine with it?
No. An alcoholmeter only reads correctly in pure mixtures of ethanol and water. Sugar and other substances in beer and wine give a false reading, and this alcoholmeter only measures from 90 % vol. For beer, use a hydrometer and calculate the alcohol from OG and FG.
At what temperature should I measure?
The alcoholmeter is calibrated at 20 °C. If you measure at another temperature, the reading must be corrected.
How accurate is it?
It is graduated in steps of 0.1 % vol with an accuracy of ±0.1 % vol.
