The Kettle Whirlpool Kit from Blichmann lets you run a whirlpool in your brew kettle. Using a pump, you recirculate the wort in through the whirlpool tube so it spins in the kettle and trub and hops collect in a cone in the centre. The kit comes complete with the G2 Linear Flow Valve for precise flow control, a weldless bulkhead and the whirlpool tube.

What is a whirlpool?
After the boil, the wort is set spinning. Trub and hops then collect in a cone in the centre of the kettle, and you can draw off clearer wort from the side.
Does the kettle need welding?
No, the kit uses a weldless bulkhead. You need a hole in the kettle. Dimensions and installation are covered in the guide.
Do I need a pump?
Yes, the whirlpool is driven by a pump that recirculates wort from the outlet back in through the whirlpool tube.
