Description
Cooling jacket for Brewtools MiniUni – cooling with a glycol chiller
Soft cooling jacket made of TPU, a strong and flexible material. The jacket is an effective and affordable way to cool and control the temperature of fermentation tanks with a glycol chiller. It is made for the Brewtools MiniUni, but can also be used on other fermenters and tanks with an outer diameter from 280 mm.
How to use the cooling jacket
- Wrap the jacket around the tank and tighten it with the strap
- Connect the glycol chiller to the two 3/8" NPT ports
- Use it together with the MiniUni insulation jacket for best results
- On larger tanks the strap can be adjusted by skipping a loop
- PTFE thread tape is recommended on adapters
If you do not already have a glycol chiller, you will find several options among our glycol chillers. The Grainfather GC2 Glycol Chiller can be connected to the tank with the Grainfather Glycol Chiller Adapter Kit without cooling coil.
