Frequently asked questions about Lallemand Essential Series 04 Fruity IPA

How much beer does 500 g cover?

The pitching rate is 50–100 g per hectolitre, so 500 g covers 5–10 hectolitres, or 500–1000 litres of wort.

What fermentation temperature should I use?

The yeast ferments at 18–24 °C.

Which beer styles does it suit?

Hazy and juicy IPAs and other fruity IPA styles, where the yeast's tropical pineapple and peach character lifts the hop aroma.

Will the beer be clear?

Flocculation is low to medium, so the yeast stays in suspension longer. That suits hazy styles.

How strong a beer can the yeast handle?

Alcohol tolerance is up to 10 % ABV.
