Mangrove Jack's Cider Enhancer 1.2 kg – more flavour and body in your cider
Cider Enhancer from Mangrove Jack's is used instead of plain dextrose (glucose) when you brew cider. The blend gives better flavour, body and mouthfeel, and a more refreshing result than sugar alone. It suits many cider styles.

- contents: apple juice concentrate, invert sugar syrup and glucose syrup
- replaces approx. 1 kg of dextrose in a cider kit
- weight: 1.2 kg
How to use Cider Enhancer
Use Cider Enhancer instead of the sugar the cider kit calls for. In Mangrove Jack's Craft Series cider kits, which make approx. 23 litres, it replaces 1 kg of dextrose.
Frequently asked questions about Cider Enhancer
How much Cider Enhancer should I use?
One pack replaces approx. 1 kg of dextrose, which is what a Craft Series cider kit of approx. 23 litres needs.
What is the difference between Cider Enhancer and dextrose?
Dextrose ferments out almost completely and only adds alcohol. Cider Enhancer also contains apple juice concentrate and gives more flavour and body. For Craft Series Pear Cider, Mangrove Jack's states a final gravity below 1.013 with Cider Enhancer, against below 1.003 with dextrose.
Can I use malt extract in the cider kit instead?
No. Cider kits are brewed with sugar or Cider Enhancer, not with malt extract.
