Technical data

  • Origin: New Zealand
  • Pack size: 100 g
  • Alpha acids, typical for the variety: 6–8%

Typical values for the variety are from Yakima Valley Hops. Values vary from year to year. The alpha acid for the lot you receive is stated in the product title. Use that figure when calculating bitterness.

Storage and quality

The hops are vacuum packed and stored in a freezer room at -18 °C, so the quality keeps for several years. We focus on offering hops from the last two harvests, but older hops can be just as good as long as they have been stored correctly. At home, keep the hops cold, dark and airtight, preferably in the freezer. Read more about shelf life and storage of hops in the article from Yakima Valley Hops (PDF).
