Northern Brewer is a versatile hop originating in England and Germany, known for its distinct bitterness and aromas of pine, mint, and light spice. It is often used in beer styles such as bitter, porter, steam beer, and darker ales. Northern Brewer is suitable as both a bittering and aroma hop, giving the beer a clear yet balanced hop profile. It can be combined with hops such as Fuggle, East Kent Goldings, or Perle for added depth.
