Oktober Design has developed its machines specifically for craft breweries, and the Model 7 is handmade in the USA. The machine is made to order, with price on request.

The Model 7 is a development of the professional MK16v2. The entire front has stainless steel components, and the machine has an integrated drip tray. It is easier to use and maintain than its predecessor and runs more quietly.
Compared with the SL1, which is made for homebrewers, the Model 7 is more robustly built. It has considerably larger, oil-impregnated rollers that withstand repeated friction.
