Pigtail coil for sample valve – foam-free sampling from a pressurised tank
A pigtail coil is a spiral tube fitted to the sample valve on a fermenter. When you draw a sample from a tank under pressure, the coil slows the beer down so it comes out without much foam. This lets you take samples to measure gravity or taste the beer without wasting it.
The coil from Brumetal is made of top-quality 304 stainless steel. It fits 34 mm and 1.5" Tri-Clamp sample valves, as well as the standard sample valve supplied with Ss Brewtech unitanks.
