PolyKeg PRO 20L with bag and K valve – disposable PET keg for KeyKeg couplers
PolyKeg® PRO 20L is a disposable PET keg from Italian manufacturer PolyKeg®, with an internal bag and dip tube (Bag in Keg, BIK) and a K valve that fits KeyKeg couplers. The keg has a barrier against oxygen, CO2 and light, is delivered ready to fill and has an integrated pressure relief valve. PolyKeg® developed the technology in 2005 and has refined it further in the PRO series. You are buying one keg.

Bag in Keg with dip tube
- The bag with internal dip tube gives an even flow during filling and complete, correct dispensing without unnecessary foam. According to the manufacturer, this means 1–2 litres more beer sold per keg.
- The bag is rinsed and pressure-treated and has very little residual oxygen. The keg can be filled without further treatment.
- The bag is folded so that it opens gradually during filling, without stress or damage to the film.
- The multilayer film protects against O2, CO2 and light and resists tearing and punctures well.
- The keg can be filled upright or upside down, with manual or automatic filling systems.
- You can also carbonate naturally with sugar in a PolyKeg.
Integrated pressure relief valve
- Automatically releases pressure above 5.5 bar throughout the keg's life, and closes again once the pressure is back below the set value.
- After use, the lever on the valve can be removed to release all the pressure, without extra equipment.
Important: Star San and other acid-based sanitizers can damage the pressure relief valve on the PolyKeg.
Compatibility
PolyKeg® is available with six different valves (A, S, D, G, M and K) and fits the most common filling and dispensing systems. This keg has a K valve, which is compatible with KeyKeg couplers. If you would like PolyKeg® with other valves than those in our web shop, please contact us.
Ready to use and easy to recycle
PolyKeg® needs no internal cleaning. The keg is delivered pre-purged with nitrogen, vacuumed and then pressurised with 0.5 bar CO2, ready to fill. This gives low oxygen pick-up during filling. The keg has no metal components, the parts can be separated without electricity for recycling, and the kegs stack easily.

Which coupler do I need?
This keg has a K valve, which fits KeyKeg (KK) couplers. You can use the KeyKeg Dispensing Head 5/8, for example.
Does the keg need washing before filling?
No. PolyKeg® is delivered pre-purged with nitrogen, vacuumed and pressurised with 0.5 bar CO2, ready to fill.
Can I use Star San on the valve?
No. Star San and other acid-based sanitizers can damage the pressure relief valve on the PolyKeg.
Can I dispense a PolyKeg with a Lindr compressor?
Yes. Because the beer is in a bag, the air from the compressor never touches the beer. The Lindr compressor should only be used with PolyKeg and KeyKeg, not with Cornelius kegs.
Can I carbonate with sugar in the keg?
Yes, natural carbonation with sugar is possible in a PolyKeg.
