PolyKeg® PRO 30L with bag (KK coupler)
The PolyKeg PRO 30L is a one-way PET keg with an internal bag, integrated spear and integrated pressure relief valve (PRV). The K valve is compatible with KeyKeg couplers and filling heads. The keg is sold per Euro pallet of 44 kegs and is made for breweries that deliver beer in kegs.

PolyKeg® is made in Italy and developed, in 2005, the technology that other one-way keg manufacturers use today. The barrier against O2, CO2 and light protects the product, and the PRO series is designed with a focus on product protection, safety and efficient logistics.
The BIK system and integrated spear mean less foam
BIK (Bag In Keg) is PolyKeg’s own system and is available with all six valve types:
- The bag with internal spear gives an even flow during filling and complete, correct dispensing without unnecessary foam. That means 1–2 litres more beer sold per keg.
- The bag is rinsed and pressure-treated so that residual oxygen is very low and hygiene is good. The keg is ready to fill without further treatment.
- The bag is folded so that it opens gradually during filling, without tension or damage to the film.
- The multilayer film protects against O2, CO2 and light and is more resistant to tears and punctures.
- The spear and folded bag allow the keg to be filled upright or upside down, with manual or automatic filling systems.
- You can also carbonate naturally with sugar in a PolyKeg.
Integrated pressure relief valve (PRV)
- The valve automatically releases pressure above the set value of 5.5 bar throughout the life of the keg, and closes again once the pressure is back within range.
- After use, the valve lever can be removed to fully depressurise the keg without extra equipment and without staff needing to be present.
Note: Star San and other acid-based sanitizers can damage the pressure relief valve on the PolyKeg.
Compatibility
PolyKeg® is available with six valve types (A, S, D, G, M and K, which is KeyKeg-compatible) and fits the most common filling and dispensing systems. Switching from other kegs, whether one-way or returnable, therefore requires no special investment. The choice of valve also lets you supply customers who require a specific coupler.

- All components can be separated without electricity, so that as much as possible can be recycled.
- The kegs can be stacked, saving storage space, handling and transport.

Ready to fill
PolyKeg®, with or without a bag, needs no internal cleaning. The keg is purged with nitrogen, vacuumed and then pressurised with 0.5 bar CO2, ready to fill. This keeps oxygen pick-up during filling low.

Does a PolyKeg with K valve fit a KeyKeg coupler?
Yes. The K valve is compatible with KeyKeg couplers and KeyKeg filling heads, so you can use the same filling and dispensing equipment.
Does the keg need cleaning before filling?
No. The PolyKeg is supplied purged with nitrogen, vacuumed and pressurised with 0.5 bar CO2, and is ready to fill without internal cleaning.
Can I use Star San on the valve?
No. Star San and other acid-based sanitizers can damage the pressure relief valve on the PolyKeg.
What happens if the pressure in the keg gets too high?
The integrated pressure relief valve automatically releases pressure above 5.5 bar and closes again once the pressure is normal. After use, the lever can be removed to fully depressurise the keg.
How do I dispense from a PolyKeg?
You need a KeyKeg-compatible coupler. A beer cooler with a built-in air compressor, such as the Lindr KONTAKT 40/K, makes it easy to dispense from PolyKeg and KeyKeg kegs with an internal bag.
