Propylene glycol 10 kg – coolant for glycol chillers from Quantor
Propylene glycol from Quantor in a 10 kg container, for use in glycol chillers. The glycol is mixed with water to make a coolant with a lower freezing point than plain water. The glycol chiller can then cool the liquid below 0 °C without it freezing, for example to hold a low fermentation temperature or to cold crash your beer.
Please note: This product is only available in Norway.
The ratio of glycol to water depends on the chiller and how cold you need to go. Follow the instructions for your glycol chiller.

Why use glycol instead of plain water?
Plain water freezes at 0 °C. With glycol in the water the coolant can be kept below freezing, so you can chill the beer faster and colder.

Can I use it in glycol chillers other than Quantor?
