MA9016 is a laboratory grade cleaning solution from Milwaukee. It improves performance and extends the life of pH electrodes.
The accuracy and speed of pH measurements depend on a clean electrode. A pH electrode also needs an open, free-flowing junction to work. The cleaning solution helps keep both the sensor clean and the junction open.
How to use the cleaning solution
- Fill a beaker or container so that the solution covers the sensor and the junction.
- Soak the electrode in the cleaning solution for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Then soak the electrode in electrode storage solution for at least 2 hours.
